At Long Last

We are on the home stretch of our 24 day visit in Canada. It has been a beautiful, fun stay with friends and family. Dace has grown up so much and yes, this Canadian air has stretched him another two inches. This is two years in a row now that has happened. His hair is thicker, he talks in his gibber gabber language all day long and continues to steal the hearts of everyone he meets. Needless to say, Daddy is missing us both and is eagerly awaiting our return Friday night.
My dad has been snapping pics and taking movies over the weeks here and i stole some off his computer to finally update this blog. I have been in new-post withdrawals for almost a month now. Prepare for a flood of updates over the next couple of weeks. Here is a random sample of what we've been up to.

Uncle Toben's monster truck remote control car. He LOVES this thing and likes to haul it around with one hand! Dace's new nickname is Spartan.

Wearing Grandpa's hat. Dace is attached to Grandpa like white on rice. As soon as he hears grandpa, Dace goes running around the house to find him, then greets him with open arms for hugs and snuggles. Grandpa is not complaining.

Bathtime with Grandma. The third best time of the day for these two, proceeded by sharing Revels and the evening stroller walk.
My first attempt at a lattice pie crust. I am pleased. I picked 2 big ice cream pails of Saskatoon berries (service berries as they are called in the USA) and made 4 pies and ate plenty fresh too.
