If We Could Have Your Attention, please

Just a little announcement that Dace will be a big brother in February. I've added a little countdown to the right to remind myself and anyone else who cares to know as to how far along I am. Things have been going great other than the 2 weeks of brutal nausea. Thankfully, that wrapped up before our travels. So now I am eating with a vengeance to make up for lost time. I feel great, don't feel pregnant at all and am hardly showing but that is probably only noticeable to myself. We will hear the heartbeat at our next appt the week we return to Carolina. That will make it all seem real.

Did I mention this was a surprise? Yup, a year earlier than planned but hey, what can you do? We are all excited and ready for it. Ding, round two!!!!

Stay Tuned....

Tomorrow night we are leaving on a jet plane heading back to the dry heat of Utah. We will be there for 10 days and attending the Dean Family Reunion. Then Dace and I are heading to Canada for a few weeks and Dallin gets to come home and work.

We are really pumped for our holiday. We have been plotting this trip for almost a year, I think. I'll post as soon as I can but for the next few days, Dacebook will be collecting cobwebs. So for now, Bon Voyage! West coast here we come!!!!

A Double Dose

Well, Canadian Granny has been harkin' at me for lack of new material. I know a lot of you check DACEbook daily for new entries and so I humbly apologize for my lack of updates during this record breaking 12 day hiatus. I will spare you my list of excuses and give you a couple video clips and some photos.
Note that in the lasagna clip, Dace goes several seconds staring into the camera without blinking. He can be such a little cat sometimes! Dace and Dallin are playing baseball/golf almost every day and Dace's eye hand coordination is getting amazing. This was the first time they played and there was been vast improvement since then. The winnie suit was a happy day gift from Auntie Chantel, our former neighbor. I found it in the closet the other day and had to strap him into it to take a picture before it didn't come close to fitting him. Note the busting seams. Feeding himself yogurt is the other pic. At DuBem's birthday party. two seconds later, the elastic strap broke.
