Firsts and Thirds

Dace did pretty good with his first hair cut. But then it got on his hands and he curled into the cape, got some in his mouth and then the meltdown happened. I consoled him as best I could so Val could finish then I pulled him out and held him for the last little trims. His curls are all gone, sad, but his new cut looks so good-handsome and older. I have been watching him all afternoon. He seems like a totally different boy with his new hair. But still just as sweet and lovely.

In other news, we celebrated our third anniversary on Saturday. We took a family pic before we ditched Dace with a sitter and headed into Savannah to go to a moroccan restaurant. It was a great meal with amazing ambience including belly dancers. We love Casbah. We are going back soon.
