Oh my goodness. We are at a day count til they turn 1! What?! What?! We made it?! We survived?!
Time to start planning a party! Woohoo! It's going to be pink and blue and thanks to Pinterest, I have some really fun ideas.
The update on the twins - I think there is a really good chance both are walking in the next few weeks. Ammon stood up on his own yesterday in the middle of the room. Miss loves cruising back and forth along the couch and tried walking away from the edge this morning. They are getting bold.
Ammon has learned a high pitch screech thanks to Zade. It is not pleasant and it better be a really short phase. It pierces my ears and I am not excited for the first time he belts that out in sacrament meeting, probably this Sunday.
They love solids- Miss is a huge Cheerios fan. She sees that yellow box coming her way and just gets giddy. Once they hit her tray, she promptly take a fistful and jams it into her mouth. I gave them penne with artichoke, sausage and sun-dried tomato pesto for dinner last night, one of our favorites, and they could not get enough.
Most nights they make it through til 6 or 7 for a drink. We are done with bottles, they are full time sippy cup users now and we just began weening them off formula and onto milk. No problems there either.
They love to cluck their tongues and have sing-offs in their cribs or anywhere really, always seeing who can hit the highest, loudest note.
Both love to climb and going up the stairs is a big event. They squeal with delight when I open the gate and allow them to go up. Dace follows Ammon and Zade is partnered with Miss. The big boys crawl behind them in case they fall. No one has fallen yet and they get a real kick out of going up the stairs on their own. Now we have to teach them how to slide down properly.
Miss cut her third tooth this week and a molar is starting to come through too. Her face looks so much different to me with that one upper tooth filling in her gummy smile.
I need to weigh and measure them and will post that later.
