It Has Been A Week

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........................................

it's been a week.  You know those kinds of weeks?  This was one of them.

Dallin and  I continue to tredge along in survival mode.  Auto-pilot, zombie-like survival mode.  I won't bore you with the details.  I feel like all I do is think and try to figure this situation out, never coming up with answers and nothing but spinning my wheels, trying, trying, trying, failing, failing, failing and it is exhausting.  I know it is the same for him.  So I don't want to talk about it here but extra prayers on our behalf would be extremely appreciated.

Trooper of the week award goes to Zade.  He was diagnosed this afternoon with a raging ear infection, a 9 out of 10 level, according to the doc.   We thought he had an eye infection since he's had green drainage in his right eye since Tuesday.  Then today he started tugging on his ear and the nurse said to bring him in.  It wasn't an eye infection.  It was his ear infection and because he is so congested in there, it's draining through his eye ducts.  Isn't that crazy?!  When I put him to bed tonight, it was coming out of both eyes now.  It's so green, you'd think it was snoz.  Sorry, probably an overshare but oh well....  Then he also has an infected bug bite on his hip that is starting to puss up and a wart on his pinkie.  Other than being more clingy than usual, he is happy and as energetic as ever.  Like I said - Trooper of the week.

The highlight of the week was having our new help start- Miss Deborah.  She is an older woman who has already raised 4 kids, including twins!  She is currently living with us til we find her accommodations.  She is wonderful!  The boys love her, she is great with the twins and we all click very well.  She is very sweet and so helpful and a great addition to our family.  But more about her and that later on.

Dace's newest craze is all about singing.  He has the cutest little singing voice I have ever heard.  He talks about primary all week and is so excited to start school next year, another popular topic of discussion.  He is getting so great at coloring!  He hardly ever goes out of the lines anymore; it's amazing.  I'll have to scan and post some of his latest pieces of art.  So great!

Babies- Nev is rolling around like crazy and trying to scoot up on her knees.  She will roll from one side of the living room to the other.  Ammon will roll once and that's enough.  It take a bit more energy for whom we now affectionately refer to as Mr. Plumpy.  Dace gets such a kick out of calling him that.  But when on his tummy he will do a full push up and hold himself up there for long periods of time.  I guess he has the arms strength and Nev has the abs.  She is fascinated with her hands and he is in love with his feet.  It's funny to walk into the room and they are side by side on their backs, one playing with toes, the other with fingers.  Ammon has the eating solid food technique downpat and Nev is finally starting to get caught up.  Ammon's front bottom teeth could cut through at any moment and both leave major drool puddles wherever they go.
