Running Sumo Baby

Let's just state the obvious, shall we? Zade is HUGE! I call him my chunk or my chunka chunk. He and Dace went for checkups last week and Zade weighs in at 20 lbs, 3 oz, 26 1/4 inches long- basically the size of a 1 year old. He's in the 95% percentile for weight, no surprise there. Everyone always comments on how much he kicks. What you see in the video is what he does all day long. Even when he's being held, the legs are going. I would hate to see what he'd look like if he didn't move this much. He'd be obese! He is the happiest, sweetest little baby boy ever. He loves to sing, especially in the stairwell so he can hear his echo. He loves making Dace laugh and playing cars with him. He is loving eating solids and chewing on anything that comes close enough to his mouth to bite into. He adores bathtime and creates a tsunami every night because the kicking does not stop just because he's in water. He's soft and squishy and plump and has the softest little cheekers that I can't kiss enough. Happy 5 months, Zade.
