9 months old

These babies are so happy and so chill!  Praise Allah because I don't think I could handle another Zade, or 2 more Zades.  The Lord knew, yes he did.

Both are crawling.  Nev is still doing an army crawl shuffle but Ammon is up on hands and knees and he is gone!  He does nothing but pick up more speed every day.  He also figured out how to sit up from crawl position and he is very proud of himself.  He LOVES sitting with the older boys and playing toys.  Nev prefers to lounge and lay around like the princess she is.

They advanced into highchairs over the last 2 days.  I found both highchairs on craigslist and got both for a total of $40!  Both are like brand new!  I am so excited!  They love being up high and having a tray for food and feeling like big kids in their thrones.

Ammon has 6 teeth; Nev has 2.  Both are great sleepers and we are getting a new bedtime routine down pat with all 4, everyone in bed and asleep by 8pm.  They are usually only up once around 4-5am for a bottle.  So we are slowly getting back to normal in the sleep department.  Now if only Zade would stay in his bed all night, but that is coming together too.

I took this video last night.  I love watching their legs kick.  Miss is such a kicker!  And they are just so relaxed....love it.

Duckie

Zade had to go to the doctor on Thursday to get a little wart on his pinkie treated for the second time. (it is now completely gone- yay!)  On the way back, I stopped into the new Goodwill store to check it out.  There was a bin of stuffed toys with a lifesize Elmo on top.  I pulled him out and showed him to Zade who immediately declared "Elmo!" and grabbed him from my hand.  I figured Elmo would be coming home with us but then Zade walked by the bin and cried out "Duckie!"  He reached down and pulled this guy out and easily cast Elmo back into the bin.  I was shocked and amused.  So Duckie has joined our family and Zade is so in love.

Stunt Baby

Dallin was so excited the other night when I came home and he told me Nev could do this!  He has always wanted a baby that could master this trick but the boys were always too fat.  Hurray for little miss!

All The World's A Chew Toy

One of Dace's Birthday presents was a container of plastic play food.  The older boys loved it for about a day.  The twins can't get enough of it!  I dump it out and it will easily entertain them for a good 30 minutes.  They love all the different colors and shapes and textures.  

Ammon has 6 teeth and Nev cut her first 2 Saturday night.  Both love teething biscuits and will chew on anything that comes close enough to their mouth for them to pull it in.  And sometimes that becomes a tug of war, as demonstrated below.

We had 12 kids here today.  They enjoyed a pirate treasure hunt led by Captain Dallin.

The secret treasure map led them to 6 clues before the Friendly Forest where the treasure was buried.  But Pirate Phil was there protecting it and the little pirates would have to go through him if they wanted it.  They were not shy at taking him down!

The party was a success, Dace loved his cake and all his great gifts, everyone had a great time and Ammon found a girlfriend.
