Our 2 babies are 2!

I can't believe they are 2!  I started this slideshow at about 10pm Friday night and finished it today after church.  I never did their first year slideshow and wanted to give them "individual" time so its a little long but you get 2 years in review and then an extra bonus section to really get a sense of the chaos from the last 2 years of having 4 kids under the age of 4-5.

I am so blessed by these sweethearts.  Ammon is such a mama's boy and definitely lives up to the title of "baby of the family".  And little Miss....(sigh)...(sniff)....she has changed my life.  Don't get me wrong.  I LOVE my boys but having a daughter really is different for a mother.  She's my mini-me.  She's my dolly.  She's my heart walking outside of my body.  Thanks be to my Heavenly Father for seeing me as worthy of such an incredible honor, responsibility and task.  It has been SO hard these last two years.  I have made many mistakes.  I have been over tired, frustrated, emotional, hormonal, worn out and overwhelmed.  But at the end of two years, I really don't remember those parts of it.  I can if I really sit and think about it but who wants to do that?!  What I do remember and cherish are those "perfect moments" of parenthood that make all the rest completely worth it.

Making this slideshow was a great trip down memory lane.  They were so tiny!!!  But the biggest thing I took away from reviewing the last 2 years is that I have really happy kids.  So I must be doing something right.

Early morning entertainment - watching the pressure washer guy.  

Nev's got the right idea!  

Bumblebee had to be replaced.  the silly thing's top seam shredded 3 days in!  Thankfully, Target replaced without any argument.  I was very impressed.  

Ammon's new hobby.  We might have another artist on our hands!!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  Time to start sewing halloween costumes!  I am so excited for our family theme.  Any guesses??  Here's a hint- a childhood cartoon

Piggies

Putting Nev's hair into pigtails is seriously one of the funnest things I get to do as a mom.  I love it!  She does very well sitting still and holding the elastics and barretts and keeps them in most of the time.  Now if i can just find a good camera angle to capture them in and have her sit still for that....
